Earth is out of water. You decide who gets to leave. The seas are gone. There's no rain, no storms, and the fish went years ago. 

K.A.S.P. — the Kesslick Aeronautical Space Program — has cracked wormhole travel, and every nation left is racing to colonise whatever's on the other side.

You're job is to vet the applicants. Read their papers. Build a crew whose skills actually match the planet they're headed for. Sign off on the launch. 

Colonies that take hold send water back to Earth. Colonies that fail take some of it with them.

Everyone on this planet wants off it. Some of them have forged their way onto your desk.

How to play

• Review candidates. Read the documents. Passports, IDs, degrees, intel reports. Drag them around the desk and cross-check names, dates and regional insignia against each other.
• Accept or reject. Turn away all four and a fresh batch arrives in seconds, you can shop for the crew you want.
• Balance the crew. Every planet needs Medical, Food, Security and Construction covered. 
• A crew that's all engineers starves.
• Launch the shuttle
• Wait for Mission Control to tell you whether the colony held.
